Meek Mill got some love from an unexpected source when Slovenian snowboarder Tit Stante made a gesture of support during the Olympic halfpipe qualifiers.

Stante didn’t impress on the course, but he certainly used his big moment to shine light on the incarcerated rapper. As the cameras honed in, he held aloft his board on which he’d written #FreeMeekMill with a Sharpie.

A slew of artists and athletes have protested against Mill’s recent sentencing. In November, Mill got two to four years in Pennsylvania state prison for probation violations regarding assault and reckless endangerment. Both of those charges have since been dropped. The Philly rapper has been on probation since 2008 after getting convicted on drug dealing and gun possession charges.

Mill can count on support from the likes of Drake, NBA star James Harden, NFL champion Philadelphia Eagles and, now, Slovenia’s Stante.

Veteran champion and sometimes-rocker Shaun White was, of course, the star attraction in the competition. And he didn’t disappoint, posting a massive 98.50 in his final run to qualify in top place for the final.
